Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist
Dr Emma Hunnisett worked as a Chartered Psychologist in the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service between 2000 and 2003. She then worked as a Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist for the Norfolk Learning Difficulties Service between 2003 and 2012, with a special interest in autistic spectrum disorders and learning difficulties. Since 2009 she has worked in private practice. Diagnosis and treatment of autistic spectrum disorders form a core part of her practice. She also has extensive experience in childhood trauma and attachment and she works in the family courts on complex cases. She is a chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and is registered with the HCPC.
