Will Mertens
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Will qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 2010 from the University of East Anglia. He later qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist in 2016 from UEA. Will has specialised in paediatric mental health since 2010 and has worked with children and young people in social care settings prior to 2010.
Will has experience of working with children with Autism, ADHD, Depression and Anxiety including OCD and PTSD. Will also has experience of supporting children in crisis and those at risk. Will worked for the NHS for 13 years between 2010 and 2023 and has recently since started a private therapeutic practice. Will is an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and is a committed professional who takes a patient, empathetic, understanding and compassionate approach to his work.
